About us

 

Waltz UMC was founded in 1844.  We are a traditional, Bible oriented, family oriented church in rural Medina, averaging about 28 at morning worship and are starting to grow.  We are an ardent supporter of the KAIROS (God's Special Time) prison ministry.   Volunteers from our church join Kairos team going into Grafton prison to share the love of Christ with resident inmates.  Church members also donate homemade, baked with prayer and love, cookies to show God's love.  

 

All are welcome. A majority of our membership is  senior citizens, and we work with other churches in the area to meet the overall needs of the community.
